SYX collects the minimum information needed to operate a professional, safer game-development community.

What we collect
We collect account identifiers from the sign-in providers you choose, your age range, profile and portfolio content, interactions, messages, applications, device tokens, moderation records, and technical records needed for security and reliability. We do not ask for an exact birth date.
How we use it
We use this information to provide profiles, feeds, project spaces, messaging, opportunities, notifications, moderation, youth-safety protections, fraud prevention, support, and service improvement. We do not sell personal information.
Visibility and youth protections
Published profiles and approved posts are public. Private messages, applications, internal project data, age range, and account-security data are not public. Accounts ages 13–17 receive stricter discovery, location, contact, and messaging protections.
Service providers
SYX uses Google Firebase and Google Cloud to host authentication, databases, files, functions, analytics, crash reporting, and notifications. Apple or Google processes information when you use its sign-in service. Opportunity submissions may be routed into SYX Google Workspace for authorized review.
Retention and deletion
You may request account deletion in the app. Public visibility is removed immediately and a 30-day recovery period begins. After that period, personal information is deleted or anonymized unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or an application retention commitment.
Choices and contact
You can edit your profile, control visibility through the available settings, block accounts, export key account data, or request deletion. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to the SYX support address published in the app and on syxverse.com.
